2009 Acura RL

Is Acura's attempt to try to increase sales of the RL going to be enough? The 2009 RL is aiming more towards a more agressive look, which has been lacking in previous years. The engine has been redesigned as well: displacement is bumped up to 3.7 liters, bringing V-6 output to an even 300 hp with torque at 271 lb-ft. A big change from the previous year, with a displacement of only 3.5 liters and 290 hp, with torque at 256 lb-ft. But how will this play in when everyone is trying to "go green".

While I thought the front of the car was decent looking, besides that chrome plate across the grille, what really hit it off for me was the interior. A sophisticated, yet clean look writes "luxury" all over this car. Though it hasn't changed much from 2008, a few things have been redesigned here and there to make it even more appealing.

The rear of the car also got a more agressive make-over. Newly designed tail-lights along with the rear bumper offer a more fierce look.

Though I've heared many different opinions about the 2009 Acura RL, mostly bad, I believe it should pick up the sales at least more than previous years.
